2016 PC HYSPLIT Workshop

A 3 day HYSPLIT workshop will be given May 17 - 19, 2016 at the NOAA Center for Weather and Climate Prediction (NCWCP) in College Park, Maryland. The workshop will be focused on the use of the model and its Graphical User Interface (GUI). Details and registration instructions can be found at:

ARL-authored paper on the NOAA HYSPLIT modeling system

ARL scientists Ariel Stein, Roland Draxler, Glenn Rolph, Barbara Stunder, Mark Cohen, and Fantine Ngan are co-authors on a Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS) article titled: NOAA's HYSPLIT atmospheric transport and dispersion modeling system, published in the December 2015 issue. The cover, pictured above, shows a satellite image of smoke from a wildfire superimposed with HYSPLIT's 3D lagrangian particles. See the ARL news article for more information.
