.DISCUSSION...
KBDI values along the south coastal plains continue above critical
threshold with fuel moisture expected to linger between 8-10% mainly
along the south coastal plains. Winds will be generally out of the
east between 12-15 mph with occasionally stronger gusts and sea breeze
variations. Relative Humidities may however drop to the mid to upper
40s in some areas but is expected to quickly rebound as the sea breeze
kicks in and a surge of trade wind moisture crosses the area. That said
and taking all these factors into consideration, the risk of fire danger
is expected to be at least moderate at this time for today. Will however
continue to monitor and update if necessary.
