Fire Weather Planning Forecast for South Central Texas
National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio TX
504 AM CDT Tue Aug 16 2022

.DISCUSSION...
Rain chances remain highest today across western Val Verde county,
with dry weather across most of the remainder of the region. All
areas can expect dry weather and hot temperatures on Wednesday.
Areas that remain dry through midweek may see some elevated fire
weather conditions due to low afternoon humidity levels and cured
fine fuels. Another change in the weather pattern is in store
beginning Thursday as a weak cold front moves into portions of the
Hill Country and nearby I-35 corridor. Wetting rain chances will
remain low at this time on both Thursday and Friday, and only
isolated storms are expected over the weekend into early next
week.
