Scattered thunderstorms are moving southeast across the area, and
will continue to do so into tonight. These storms are producing
gusty winds, frequent lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Behind
the storms, some isolated showers are developing and moving
southeast. Areas that have already received rain earlier today may
be prone to some localized flooding in low-lying and urban areas
with poor drainage. Conditions are expected to improve later
tonight.
Continued development of storms and showers over the Atlantic waters
is expected into tonight. These showers and storms will move
southeast and push further offshore.
