Nicosia Meteorologist-in-Charge Weather Forecast Office, Binghamton NY SUBJECT: Commencement of Flood Warning Services and Forecasts for the Delaware River at Lordville NY (LDVN6) Effective at 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on September 12, 2022, the National Weather Service will begin water level forecast and Flood Warning services for the stream gage at Lordville on the Delaware River. Flood stages and categories have already been established and are listed below. This establishment of forecast and warning services at this location is the culmination of a recent request and evaluation of the floodplain with local emergency, floodplain management officials, and the Upper Delaware Council. These hydrologic services will primarily serve the immediate Lordville and Equinunk areas.
