Late tonight into Wednesday morning...patchy fog will be possible
across the area. Travelers should be prepared for reductions in
visibility down to one mile or less at times through mid morning
Wednesday. Otherwise...dry conditions are forecast for
Wednesday...with the day starting out with plenty of cloud
cover...but more sunshine is expected into the afternoon hours.
Winds will be east to southeasterly...with speeds around 10 MPH.
High temperatures will be warmer...reaching into the upper 70s to
low 80s. Periodic...scattered precipitation chances will work their
way back into the forecast starting Thursday afternoon and
continuing into the upcoming weekend. Thursday looks to have mostly
clear skies for much of the day...with more clouds working in late
in the day along with those shower and thunderstorm chances. The
best chances for precipitation look to favor portions of south
central Nebraska. High temperatures on Thursday have another bump
up...reaching the mid to upper 80s...and winds turn more southerly
with speeds around 10 to 15 MPH. Precipitation chances on Friday are
mainly confined to far east and northeast portions of the
area...then move to portions of north central Kansas for Saturday
and Sunday. High temperatures Friday through Sunday range from the
upper 70s to mid 80s. A frontal boundary moving through will switch
winds to the northwest for Friday and Saturday...with winds then
turning more easterly for Sunday.

Skies were mostly cloudy across the region with scattered light
rain showers. Temperatures were generally in the upper 60s to
lower 70s with northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph.
OUTLOOK... tonight will be cloudy with scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms in east central Colorado to southwest
Kansas during the evening. Areas of fog will develop after
midnight. Low temperatures will be in the 50s. After morning
clouds and fog, Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the
upper 70s to lower 80s and lows Wednesday night in the 50s. The
end of the week will see warmer temperatures and slight chances
for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be
in the upper 80s to lower 90s with lows in the 50s.

Today... Cloudy conditions prevailed across much of the region
with limited clearing across the northwest and northeast. Highs
rose into the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Tonight...Much of the region will continue to remain cloudy.
Gradual clearing expected overnight, but fog development is
possible by early morning. Widespread fog is possible across
portions of southwest and southern Nebraska with patchy fog
possible elsewhere. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 50s.
