Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
436 AM EDT Tue Aug 16 2022
Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the
region over the next several days.
Waves of low pressure will pass along a stalled front to the south
and east through Wednesday, while low pressure in the upper
atmosphere spins toward New England. This will result in below
normal temperatures and scattered showers. High pressure to the
north will start gaining greater influence Thursday into Friday,
leading to more sunshine and a further warming trend.
The front to the south may lift closer to the area by this
weekend, causing unsettled weather to return.
